Unisa Late Application 2022 open [Selected courses only]

Unisa late application 2022 open for selected postgraduate diplomas and selected honours degrees. You have until 4 February 2022 to send your applications to Unisa.

The university, on its Facebook page has announced on the 24th of January 2022 that late applications for 2022 are open. They go on to say, the applications are open for only selected postgraduates diplomas and selected honours degrees.

This announcement has been received with mixed reactions. You can see by the emoticons on the post. The like, love and angry emoticons were the top 3 reactions you can see on the announcement post. One of the comments reads “Welcome to the University of Stress and Anxiety (UNISA)”.

Most of these reactions were as a result of the university not opening late applications for undergraduate candidates.

The closing date for Unisa late applications 2022 is 4 February 2022.

Everyone wanting to start a new qualification must apply for admission, including first-time Unisa applicants, Unisa students changing to a new qualification and/or changing the specialisation of their current qualification, and applicants in their final year of an undergraduate qualification who wish to continue with postgraduate studies.

A late application period has been granted for some Postgraduate diplomas and Honours degrees, from 24 January 2022 until 4 February 2022. Should a qualification not reflect on the drop down list of applications that means the particular qualification is not available for application.

All applications for admission must be submitted online. No self-help stations will be available for applications at the regional offices.

Admission to a qualification is not automatic. It will depend on whether you comply with the admission requirements and if space is available.

Only complete applications (application fee paid, if applicable, and all supporting documents successfully uploaded) will be processed.

All honours/postgraduate diploma applications and enquiries must be submitted online. For any enquiries, please use the e-mail address of the college under which your qualification resides.

Step 1: Go to Unisa application page

Step 2: Select the category to apply for. That is postgraduate, short courses or masters degree. Please note that at the time of publishing this blog post, the undergraduate category was not active as the university has not opened for undergraduate late applications.

Step 3: Enter your student number and follow the instructions including adding your personal details.

Step 4: Choose the course and modules you want to apply for.

Step 5: Submit your application.
