SRD Grant Payment Schedule

SRD Grant Schedule For This Coming Week (18 APRIL: NO PAYMENT)

Posted on 17 April 202217 April 2022 by Khabza

If you are a beneficiary of the Sassa R350 SRD grant and have opted to collect your grant payment at the post office, here’s the payment schedule for the next week.

The South African Post Office distributes grant payments to beneficiaries of the R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant from the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa).

Here are the 350 grant payment days for the next week of March.

These days will only apply to beneficiaries whose identity document number has the last three digits listed below:

  • 18 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
  • 19 APRIL: 082 & 087
  • 20 APRIL: 083 & 088
  • 21 APRIL: 084 & 089
  • 22 APRIL: 080 & 085

On Monday, 18 April, no payments will be made as the country celebrates the Family Day public holiday.

Beneficiaries should note that there are no grant payments at the Post Office on weekends. Sassa also doesn’t process the R350 grant on days that other SASSA grants are paid out.

The Post Office has reminded beneficiaries to collect their grant payment only once they have received an SMS from Sassa to say their grant is available.

There is no set payment date for SRD grant payments made to beneficiaries bank accounts. Sassa says that beneficiaries who use their bank accounts for their grant payments could see their money being processed faster. Beneficiaries can draw their money at an ATM at any time or place that is convenient to them.

Sassa introduced the Special Covid-19 R350 SRD grants in 2020 to provide financial assistance to unemployed individuals who could not take care of their needs themselves and their families due to the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
