I have acquired a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety and I completed an internship where I worked under the direct supervision of a veteran HSE Coordinator. I gained valuable insight pertaining to this job position by working with this professional that you could normally only learn from personal experience. I believe this training has made me more observant and aware of the problems that can arise if all areas are not covered and addressed by the safety team.
I possess outstanding leadership skills with the ability to organize, manage and direct the safety team to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. I will review the performance of the current team to look for areas that need improving. I will also inspect and determine if new safety gear is needed to ensure the team has the necessary equipment to perform their duties correctly and safely.
