| Requirements: | ABET. Ability to cope with the physical demand of the post and various weather conditions. Preferable garden experience. Rotation to different areas and duties when need arises. |
| Duties: | Planting of trees, flowers, shrubs, grass and other plants in the garden. Preparing of soil for planting grass/ plants. Maintenance of flowers and other beds by fertilizing, irrigation, weeding and pruning where necessary. Loading and unloading variety of articles needed on the grounds on/ off trucks. Mowing lawns and cutting edges. Irrigate lawns. Remove refuse from terrain, load on the truck for transportation to refuse dump or burn it. Keep the ground structures such as parking areas, gutting etc clean and tidy. Maintain fences. Practice pest control. Assist with preparation of grounds for functions. Report any defaults on terrain. Perform all functions necessary for effective functioning of a green house. Check and report the service ability of machinery and equipment. |
