SMEC South Africa has exciting opportunities for a young Graduate engineer within their Geotechnical division in Randburg.
Our Geotechnical division is positioned in South Africa as one of the leading consultants in the sector. The incumbent will be expected to form part of this established team and be expected to take part in geotechnical and geo-structural elements of design.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of geotechnical and geo-structural elements.
- Overseeing draughting and detailing of designs.
- Compiling bills of quantities.
- Editing project specifications.
- Producing drawings if needed and
- Checking colleague’s calculations.
Requirements
- B.Eng or BSc in engineering from an established institution in geotechnics would be advantageous.
- Not more than 2 years experience if any.
- A Valid driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel for local and international assignments.
- An interest in pursuing a career in geotechnics.
