UNISA is looking for 20 Temporary Computer Lab Assistants in the following areas:
- Durban (x16),
- Richards Bay (x2),
- Wild Coast (x2).
Purpose of the job:
To render administrative assistance to the Micro Computer Laboratory of the region in order to provide a quality service to students who do their computer practical work in the laboratory and /or who need to write computer-based tests and exams.
Job requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Computer literacy – office automation programmes
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Available to assume duty on 02 January 2015
Recommendations
- Experience working in a computer laboratory environment
- ICT qualification or studying towards with programming as a module
Key performance Areas
- Assist students in Micro Computer Laboratories
- Provide assistance to the Micro Laboratory Supervisor
- Assist with laboratory bookings
- Attend to all enquiries within the laboratory
- Ad hoc duties
- Assist students and personnel in the study centre
