The Department of Higher Education and Training, through the Career Development Services directorate are reminding students that are writing their Matric Exams on the next steps in furthering their careers.
Grade 12 Learners need to start applying now at colleges and not to wait until December to get your matric results.
There are various platforms and services you can contact and research to find the suitable information and advice.

• The Careers Portal offers the Latest Learnerships and Career Advice Articles and even TVET Colleges, which can be searched through keywords eg FET College, Student Loans, firefighter or traffic officer or SANDF, Volunteer
• You can also Send an SMS or “please call me” to 072 204 5056 with your question to Careers Help which was started by SAQA to have active Advisors to assist you and will call you back;• Telephone: Call 0860 35 66 35 (Mon-Fri: 08:00-16:00) from any cell-phone or landline. This is a share-call service;
• Portal: Visit the National Career Advice Portal to get information on career paths, where to study and what to study at http://ncap.careerhelp.org.za;
