The Young Chartered Accountant Programme (YCAP) is a two year rotation-based programme within the Finance team of Barclays Africa. YCAP aims to provide newly qualified CA’s with exposure to the different disciplines of a career in Finance. Rotations take place every six months, exposing you to the functions that make up the fundamental building blocks of the Finance team. Rotations are spread across Technical, Control, and Product functions together with the recently introduced opportunity to experience a six month rotation in a finance team based in one of the Group’s Africa operations. On completion of the programme, you will have the opportunity to join one of the Finance teams in which you completed a rotation or another team of your choice (based on business demand).

Requirements
- Qualified as CA(SA) at the end of 2015 or early 2016
- South African citizen
- Highly rated by previous employer
- Preferably top 4 audit firm articles
- Financial Services articles or keen interest in Financial Services
