Submit CV: Internship Programme at the Public Protector

Public Protector South Africa offers internship opportunities to unemployed South African graduates who wish to apply in the fields listed below, which are in line with organisational support functions. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R7 000.00 during the course of this 12 month internship programme.

Successful candidates will be expected to sign the secrecy declaration form and performance agreement within 3 months of accepting the position.

Requirements

Applications are invited from candidates in the following disciplines/fields of study:

  • Administration – National Diploma: Office Administration or any other relevant qualification @ All Provincial Offices (Ref No: PPSA1)
  • Communications – Public Relations, Communication, Journalism @ Head office (Ref No: PPSA2)
  • Compliance – LLB @ Head Office (Ref No: PPSA3)
  • Facilities Management – National Diploma in Public Admin or any other relevant qualification @ Head Office (Ref No: PPSA4)
  • Finance – National Diploma in Finance or any other relevant qualification @ Head Office (Ref No: PPSA5)
  • Good Governance and Integrity – National Diploma in Office Administration, Legal Assistance @ Head Office (Ref No: PPSA6)

All successful candidates will have to undergo security clearance; vetting and competency assessments may be conducted. Appointments will be done in terms of the Public Protector Act. The Office reserves the right not to fill the vacancies.
