Arup’s Sustainable Buildings Team in Cape Town is keen to talk to recent graduates or students nearing completion of their studies for possible short term work opportunities in the near future.
This is an excellent opportunity for young developing professionals to obtain some workplace experience, learning and working within a multidisciplinary team of technical and engineering specialists and professionals.
Graduates will be working in a multi-disciplinary office, preparing designs in co-ordination with their team as well as external architects, surveyors, contractors and clients for projects across a wide range of markets. They will gain a thorough understanding of the role of a design engineer, using software design programmes and visiting sites to see the work undertaken while at the same time working towards the goal of becoming a Professional Registered Engineer.
