SARS seeks to enrol qualified Graduates in the Customs (Audit):

  • The objective of the SARS Audit Division is to detect and deter non-compliant taxpayer behaviour by carrying out effective, efficient and quality audits. Various types of audits are conducted on all tax types. These audits are conducted according to the required standards, programmes, procedures and policies.

The graduate development programme of SARS is a 24 months programme (fixed term)

At the end of the development programme, trainees who successfully meet SARS’s recruitment requirements will be considered permanent appointment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting/ Auditing/ Forensic Auditing/Criminal Law
  • South African Citizen
  • Not more than 6 months of work experience
  • Currently not participating in Graduate programme/Learnership

Experience:

  • Not more than 6 months of work experience
