Saatchi & Saatchi Digital Content Design Internship

Saatchi & Saatchi BrandsRock, a growing agency network and South Africa’s leading digital search and conversion agency, is looking for a Digital Content Design Intern to join its team in Cape TownThe intern will report to the Creative Director and work with various teams across the agency, from more traditional sides all the way through to the dev teams. Your closest partnerships will be with creative, digital planning, search, dev and analytics. Saatchi & Saatchi wants you to be the best you can possibly be and you have the whole agency’s support. There will be clear KPIs, achievable goals and regular appraisals to help you succeed.

• ‘Failing fast and fixing fast’ is practically your middle name.

• You’ll work with the larger team to create a wide range of digital assets, from websites, apps, banners and social work and anything and everything else with a pixel in it. At the end of the day, it’s about an integration of them all.
• You’ll work closely with the social, digital creative, content teams and integrated creative team to ensure constant and relentless optimisation and discoverability for our clients.
• Work with production personnel and project management to make sure that designs and executions of creative work are within specified production budgets and are of creative excellence.
• Remain current on industry trends and technology

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a three-year college or university required
• No work experience necessary
• Recognition in industry student award shows would be great
• Proficient in CC. Other software is a bonus.

Skills and Comptencies Required

• Excellent digital design skills
• Ability to work fast and effectively
• Ability to animate in, at minimum After Effects. 3D platforms will put you in even better stead.
• Collaboration, diplomacy and high degree of discretion
• Handling stressful situations and deadline pressures well
