• BSc/BSc (Hons) with a specialization in Genetics
• 1-2 years previous experience in the genetic environment will be advantageous
• Computer literate
• Well developed understanding of research and development processes as well as a sound understating of analytical instrumentation

• Able to plan, prioritise and organise workflow effectively in line with the stipulated time frames
• Able to plan, prioritise and communicate efficiently in the ream and to all relevant stakeholders
• Able to work under pressure and stress
• Problem solving and decision making skills
