Anglo American is hereby inviting applications for Internships and P1/P2 programmes aimed at equipping unemployed graduates with appropriate work experience. The internship Programme provides practical Work Learning and experience to individuals. The programme will run for a period of 12 months.

Intern Electrical Engineering

Studying towards N6/ S4 / National Diploma or BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronic and in need of P1/P2
Or Must have graduated in National Diploma or BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronic and in need of work experience.

Intern Enterprise Supplier Development

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree in Business Management / Supply Chain Management or related and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Business Management / Supply Chain Management or related and in need of work experience.

Intern Environmental Health

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree Environmental Health and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Environmental Health and in need of work experience.

Intern Geology

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree in Geology and in need of P1/P2

Intern Industrial Engineering

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree in Industrial Engineering and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Industrial Engineering and in need of work experience.

Intern Learning (Human Resource Development)

Must be studying towards Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Development / Training & Development Management / OD ETDP
Or must have graduated in Diploma or Degree in Human Resource / Training & Development Management / OD ETDP.
Or Must have graduated in Honours Degree in Psychology and HPCSA registration as a student psychometrist

Intern Mechanical Engineering

Must be Studying towards N6/ S4 / National Diploma or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electronic
Or Must have graduated in National Diploma or BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electronic.

Intern Mine Planning

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree in Mining Engineering and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Mining Engineering and in need of work experience.

Intern Mining Engineering

Studying towards S4, National Diploma or BSc Degree in Mining Engineering and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or BSc Degree in Mining Engineering and in need of work experience.

Intern Occupational Risk

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree Occupational Hygiene/ Environmental Health / Physiology and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Occupational Hygiene/ Environmental Health / Physiology and in need of work experience.

Intern People & Organisation (Human Resource Management)

Must be studying towards Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration / Human Resource Development / Labour Law / Labour Relations/ Employment Relations
Or Must have graduated in Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration / Human Resource Development / Labour Law / Labour Relations / Employment Relations.
Or Must have graduated in Honours Degree in Psychology and HPCSA registration as a student psychometrist

Intern Rock Engineering

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree in Mining Engineering and Geology and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Mining Engineering and Geology and in need of work experience.

Intern Social Worker

Masters in clinical or counselling psychology, registered with the Health Professions Council.
Or A four-year Bachelor of Social Work Degree, registered with the Council of Social Services Profession.

Intern Supply Chain

Must be styding towards a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics Management
Or Must have graduated with an Honours Degree in Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics Management
Microsoft Office will be advantageous

Intern Survey

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree in Mine Survey and in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Mine Survey and in need of work experience.

Intern Ventilation & Hygiene

Studying towards National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/BTech/Honours Degree in Occupational Hygiene/Health Sciences/Mining Engineering in need of P1/P2
Or Have graduated in National Diploma or Advanced Diploma/Degree/BTech/Honours in Occupational Hygiene/Health Sciences/Mining Engineering and in need of work experience.

Software Engineer in Training

Any of the following:

BSc Computer Science (Hon)
Computer Science Degree with majors in Software Engineering Subjects

Mechanical Engineer in Training

Any one of the following Qualification:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering,
BSc Mechatronic Engineering,
BSc in Mechanical Engineering
MSc in Mechanical Engineering

NB. If in need of P1/P2, Please Provide the Academic record/transcripts and a letter from institution indicating a need for work experience in your studies or certificates.
