The Programme is designed to fulfil the development needs of all graduates in their first 3 years of professional evolvement and in addition to technical development needs specific to a particular discipline, contains twelve key skills which every professional needs to develop and demonstrate at work. The role of the graduate is to take advantage of this opportunity to develop and record their successful acquisition of skills and competencies by means of a Portfolio of Evidence. The graduate is paired up with a mentor whose role is to guide the graduate in their early professional development, helping them to become competent, confident professionals.

3. South African Citizen
4. Final year student or a graduate with less than 12 months of full time work experience
5. Prepared to work in any areas of South Africa
6. Extramural activities, leadership skills, achievements etc. will also be considered Jacobs’ Graduate Development Programme is recognised throughout industry as a benchmark of good practice.
