Internship with MICT Seta

The MICT Seta seeks to employ an Intern Researcher for the Sector Skills Planning division. The successful applicant will be based at the Head Office (Midrand) and will report to the Senior Manager: Sector Skills Planning.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must be unemployed and possess a relevant tertiary degree or equivalent qualification in Research (a post graduate qualification will be an added advantage);

Applicants must be South African citizens and 35 (or below) years old;

Successful applicants will be remunerated according to MICT SETA’s Intern rates; MICT SETA does not make any definite commitment for future employment of the successful Intern.

 

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Provide support in research and the development of the Sector Skills Plan for the five sub-sectors of the MICT SETA;

Coordinate research assignments;

Coordinate Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs) submission processes;

Determine and update the MICT SETA scarce and critical skills and career guide;

Provide support in the review and upadate of the SETA Management System on skills planning;

Liaise with the sector and provide support to the Skills Development Facilitators.
