South African Breweries (SAB) is looking for a Bar Person to provide bartender services to all internal and external clients at their Brewhouse in Sandton.
Requirements
- In depth knowledge of SAB Brands
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Basic knowledge of draught maintenance and refrigeration
- Ability to use electronic equipment
- Ability to carry responsibility and make decisions within limits of authority
- Effective communication internally and externally to ensure no delays or misunderstandings in providing effective and efficient customer service
- Ability to work within a team in a pressurised environment
- Ability to serve draught beer to customers
- Ability to order bar stock
- Ability to do stock rotation
- Ability to refill fridges and change empty kegs
- Work under pressure and take accountability of tasks required
- Work effectively and efficiently in teams
Output and Accountabilities
- Stock take in the bar, cold room and store room Correct glassware and clean at all times
- Cleaning and maintenance of all equipment, soft drinks fountain and draught machines
- Ensure cold room is well maintained
- Ensure correct preparation for beer tastings
- Manage stock levels of gas cylinder
