Armscor Dockyard in Simon’s Town is offering a two-year employment contract for engineering graduates under its Talent Development Programme.
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME
This programme aims to provide two years of in-service training to new graduates and, on having reached the required competency level on completion, the opportunity to apply for a permanent appointment if there is an applicable vacancy.
TRAINING POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The following in-service training positions are available:
v Electrical Engineers-in- Training Ref. Nr. DYC15/2/1
The successful candidates will perform tasks in the Electrical related engineering workshops and other Dockyard facilities.
v Mechanical Engineers-in-Training Ref. Nr. DYC15/2/2
The successful candidates will perform tasks in the Mechanical related engineering workshops and other Dockyard facilities.
Appointed candidates may be rotated amongst different work environments to give them wider exposure.
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicable B degree.
- No experience is needed.
