Class Christmas Party Letter to Parents

Everyone looks forward to Christmas parties whether they are young or old. Christmas holds a special, quite magical aura and Christmas parties add to this magic. Class Christmas parties are much looked forward to as they provide students with a chance to mingle with each other and their teachers in a somewhat informal manner – contrary to how they have socialized throughout the academic year / term.

Almost all educational institutes hold class Christmas parties to get students to indulge in the actual spirit of Christmas. While class Christmas parties are more popular with young students, they are organized for high school and even college students as well. Much preparation goes into organizing class Christmas parties; invitation letters are sent to parents to either invite them or inform them of an upcoming party and the requirements that they need to fulfil so that their children can take full advantage of the fun that is eminent at a Christmas party.

Class Christmas Party Letters to Parents

December 14, 2014

Dear Parents:

Oakland Preschool is holding a Christmas party on December 22, 2014 at 3 pm and would like you to attend it along with your child. Since we want our preschoolers to understand the spirit of giving at this special time of the year, we would like you to talk to them about the essence of Christmas so that they can say a few words during circle time at the party.

The Christmas party will be held in the kindergarten classroom. We request you to bring one food item (preferably with a Christmas or New Year theme) to share and enjoy with other children and their parents on this day. Please note that we do not want to put you through the trouble of cooking or spending an exorbitant amount of money on food items; if you can bring just enough for your child and yourself, it will suffice for the food exchange activity.

This Christmas party will mark the end of the term and all assessment reports and holiday homework will be handed to you before you leave. Since we would like to finish up by 5 pm, we would appreciate punctuality at your end. We look forward to seeing you at this festive occasion and to share the glee of Christmas with you and your child this year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!

Sincerely,

Jennet Cougar
