Abenzi Woodhouse Incorporated invites applicants from Amahlathi, Amathole and Eastern Cape to apply for available skills development and artisan trainings.
Abenzi Woodhouse trainings are offered in partnership with its accredited FP&M SETA training partners.
Applications are open for learnership, internship, skills program and Recognition of prior learning on the following trades:
1.Welding Level 2-3
2.Upholstery Level 2-3
3.Wood Furniture Designing NQF Level 4
4.Wood machining Level 3
DURATION OF AVAILABLE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES:
Internship: 6-12 months
Learnership: 12 to 18 months.
Skills Program: 1-6 months
RPL: 1-3 Months
Grade 9-12 with 2-3year’s experience respectively in the relevant technical field for learnership, skills program and RPL
NQF Level 3/4 certificate , diploma or degree for internship program
A copy of qualification, school report OR valid certified grade 12 certificate with a minimum pass in English of 40% & 40% Mathematics/ Math’s Literacy
Two recommendations or official testimonial from a previous school or learning institution OR Employer.
Detailed CV with 3 contactable references who are not relatives or friends.
Be a South African citizen from the Eastern Cape, preference to be given to Amahlathi and Amathole district citizen based on merit (Attach Proof of address under your name)
Ages between 18-35years will be prioritized however people up to 45 years will be considered depending on level of qualification and experience
Persons with disability must provide a medical certificate confirming the nature of disability and fitness to undertake training in the chosen field.
NB: For Wood Designing the candidate should be qualified in Cabinet Making, Joinery or Wood Machining NQF Level 3
REQUIREMENTS FOR RPL
At least three years working experience in the relevant field.
Two official testimonials or recommendations from previous learning institution or employer (s).
Certified copies of Post Matric qualifications in Design, Welding, Upholstery or relevant field
Detailed CV with at least two references not relatives or friends.
•Do not post original certificates.
•Only candidates who meet the above requirements will be considered.
•Each candidate to arrange own transport and accommodation.
•Applications should be clearly marked e.g. Welding learnership, internship etc.
