2018 Internships: Talent Analyst Internship at Coronation Fund Managers

Job Description

Are you a dynamic and success driven HR graduate who is keen to assist in delivering effective and efficient people practices to a fast paced, complex and exciting organisation? Do you have an eye for detail, an ear for listening and the ability to support the consultants with all administrative duties? You will have top results in a related tertiary qualification with working knowledge of the MS Office suite but of equal importance, Coronation Fund Manager’s ideal HR graduate is passionate about people and understands the importance of supporting our business.

To reliably and accurately assist HR practitioners in offering a full HR service to all employees
Duties & Responsibilities Reporting

  • Update and maintain positions list
  • Assist with maintenance of HR databases
  • Assist to create graphs and stats in excel for reporting purposes
  • Collate and coordinate information required for all regulatory reports (BBBEE, Employment Equity, Skills Development)
  • Assist with the collation of staff information for clients
  • Update and maintain information regarding our mentorship programme

Filing

Recruitment

  • Save CV’s and other relevant supporting documentation of applications on HR Drive
  • Check, upload and save candidates on Neptune
  • Capture interview feedback
  • Collate interview feedback
  • Scan CVs onto the HR share drive
  • Assist in compiling starter packs for new employees
  • Register new employees on Discovery and on our provident fund
  • Assist in the setting up of interviews
  • Conducting the necessary integrity checks

Training

  • Assist with the capturing of training on the HR System (CRS)
  • Assist with training bookings for staff

Performance Management

  • Assist to capture all KPI’s, objectives and training to the relevant databases on the HR System (CRS)
  • Assist with the maintenance of training plans

Bursaries

  • Assist with the coordination of Vacation work
  • Assist with the filing of academic results for all bursary students

Adhoc:

  • Research and summarise any new people practices or labour laws
  • Coordination of companywide development initiatives and workshops

Ideal Experience Experience working in a HR environment, preferably financial services, is advantageous but not essential.
Ideal Qualifications

  • BComm or Business Science degree with a Human Resources or Psychology major or Social Science degree with commerce subjects and relevant major
  • BBA @ TSiBA
  • Matric maths essential preferably higher grade and statistics an advantage

Systems Knowledge

1. Working understanding of MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint and MSOutlook is advantageous
