The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) invites applications for Internship opportunities that currently exist at the MQA. Unemployed applicants who have never participated in an internship programme and who have completed their qualification are invited to apply. Successful Interns will be appointed for a period of 24 Months. Interns will recieve a monthly stipend.Role of the Intern includes but not limited to the following:
- Contract Management
- Ensuring compliance with the PFMA,
- Evaluating tenders
- Supplier management
- General administrative support
- Mantain an effective filling system
- Perform any other tasks delegated by the SCM Manager and SCM Specialist
The candidate to be considered must have:
- A Diploma/Degree qualification in a supply-chain or procurement field
- Good communication and sound interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the Mining and Minerals Sector will be advantageous.
- Appropriate analytical and empirical skills.
- Understanding from enquiry to requisitioning and generating purchasing orders
- Ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude.
