Job Opportunity for a Young Technician/Engineer
Location : Western Cape
A young qualified technician or engineer is required for a temporary position at Venus Water Treatment. The candidate must be innovative, self-motivated, logical in thinking, flexible in nature, and, most importantly, be able to work in a practical, hands-on environment.
The position is for an initial period, starting as soon as possible, until 19 Dec 2014, where after it may be extended, depending on further contracts.
The job
Venus Water Treatment design, construct and install a variety of water treatment systems to small and medium-sized users in the Western Cape. In the process, they are also further developing and improving water treatment processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the hands-on assembly, installation and field evaluation of these systems, as well as in on-going research and development activities.
This is not a desk-job, but involves hands-on factory assembly, field work and experimentation.
Conditions
The following conditions regarding this job opportunity apply:
• It is an initial, temporary contract position, which may be extendable.
• A valid driver’s licence is required.
• Salary will be R7000 per month
• Place of work is at the Venus Water premises in the Gants Centre, Strand
• Starting date is as soon as possible.
