Be part of the best entertainment establishment in Mzansi, 99.2 YFM.
YFM, in partnership with e.tv, Sabido eAcademy and the MICT SETA, is running an accredited Skills Programme for radio enthusiasts, the Y Academy.
The Academy programme will be running for 6 months at the YFM office in Hyde Park, Gauteng. The Y Academy seeks to create the future stars of SA radio! Participants learn about all the different aspects of radio, such as sales and marketing, copy-writing, news, technical production, content production, and of course, being the voice behind the mic! Graduates are given the opportunity to immerse themselves fully in the world of radio, and they leave with a solid knowledge of the inner workings of the machine behind the station.
This training programme is for anyone looking to develop a career in broadcasting either as a presenter or journalist. Many Y Academy graduates have gone on to have successful careers in radio and the media space, and there will be many more successful products to come!
