Job Function

Creating and Facilitating new features required by our client and providing support to other role players in the system development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Business and Systems analysis
  • Problem solving and Diagnostic work
  • Forming an integral part of the systems development life cycle
  • Understanding the business issues and data challenges of client’s organisation and industry
  • Creating functional specifications and user requirements specifications for smaller User Requirement Specifications for new features required by clients
  • Involvement in functional design sessions with the development teams
  • Taking responsibility during the development life cycle to resolve any business related issues on smaller requirements
  • Performing integration testing to ensure that solution for new feature is functioning in integrated system environment and supporting testing efforts
  • Providing production support (3rd line) for Helpdesk calls on business related issues
  • Taking ownership to ensure new product features are delivered successfully
  • Providing progress reports
  • Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
  • Applying project standards and project methodologies of Altech Isis
  • Consistently delivering high quality service to our clients

Education Required

  • University Degree – B. degree Computer Science or Information Systems major or BEng degree.
  • Business Analysis courses (beneficial)
