Job Function
Creating and Facilitating new features required by our client and providing support to other role players in the system development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Business and Systems analysis
- Problem solving and Diagnostic work
- Forming an integral part of the systems development life cycle
- Understanding the business issues and data challenges of client’s organisation and industry
- Creating functional specifications and user requirements specifications for smaller User Requirement Specifications for new features required by clients
- Involvement in functional design sessions with the development teams
- Taking responsibility during the development life cycle to resolve any business related issues on smaller requirements
- Performing integration testing to ensure that solution for new feature is functioning in integrated system environment and supporting testing efforts
- Providing production support (3rd line) for Helpdesk calls on business related issues
- Taking ownership to ensure new product features are delivered successfully
- Providing progress reports
- Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Applying project standards and project methodologies of Altech Isis
- Consistently delivering high quality service to our clients
Education Required
- University Degree – B. degree Computer Science or Information Systems major or BEng degree.
- Business Analysis courses (beneficial)
