University of Zululand: HR Internship Opportunities

University of Zululand (UNIZULU) invites applications for 2 HR Internship opportunities. The interns will report to: Human Resources Specialist: Training and Development.

The primary purpose of these internship positions is to provide a platform for graduates in the Human Resources to gain workplace experience in the field. Interns will be put into a structured programme on which they will be mentored, nurtured, trained and monitored for them to be potential employees. This is a 1(one) year contract programme which offers no guarantee of employment after completion and a stipend will be paid for subsistence.

Education Requirements

A Degree in Human Resource or Industrial Psychology

Areas of exposure

  • Training and Development: The position is aimed at exposing the intern to the functioning of the Employee Relations Office.
  • Employee Relations: Assist the training and development specialist to diagnose and coordinate training and development needs for UNIZULU employees.
