How to Get the Twisted Bow.

The Best Bows in OSRS

These bows are some of the best in the game, and here is how you can get your hands on them.

The bow in Old School RuneScape is a very effective form of weaponry to be used, but it is worth mentioning that there are some better than others. Before you part with your OSRS gold, you may want to know which ones are the best for you to use. So if you’ve been looking for OSRS gold for sale, then here is what you are best spending your money on.

Craw’s Bow

There are around 29 bows in the game in total. Kicking off this list of the best kind of bows is the Craw’s Bow. This is a very effective weapon for you to have when out in the Wilderness, so it should be considered for that reason alone.

You can use a revenant ether to charge it up, and by killing revenants in the Revenant Caves. When you consume a charge, you will increase the accuracy and damage by 50%. That being said, the price is rather high. In fact, you will need 67,900,000 OSRS GP, and your ranged level will need to be at 60.

Dark Bow

A slow yet devastating weapon, the Dark Bow is a must-have in your arsenal of bows. Granted, it is one of the slowest weapons in the entirety of OSRS, but it is capable of firing two arrows at once and boasts a high range compared to other bows, which more than makes up for its lack of speed.

The GE price for this weapon stands at around 590,200. Your ranged level will need to be at level 60 if you are to wield it, and you if you don’t want to purchase it from the Grand Exchange, then you have a 1 in 512 chance of it dropping from Dark Beasts.

3rd Age Bow

Rather fitting for the third bow in on the list, this is one heck of a pricey weapon. Often clocking in at over 300,000,000 OSRS gold, many consider it worth every penny. This is because it is capable of having a longbow’s range combined with a shortbow’s fire rate, making it deadly in the right hands.

This combo makes it pack a real punch in DPS, and those who have reached a ranged level 65 will have the opportunity to wield it. If you are looking to get a hold of this bow and you don’t want to part with a very hefty amount of OSRS GP, then you might be lucky enough to get it as a possible reward from Treasure Trails.

Seercull

This bow makes an appearance on the list due to its special attack known as Soulshut. This is an attack in which you will be consuming your special attack energy reserve so that you can get a guaranteed hit in which your foe’s magic level with be decreased. So if you happen to come up against an enemy that uses magic, then you are going to prove very powerful indeed.

You will need to have a range level of 50 to wield it, and you can purchase it for 25, 200 OSRS GP at the Grand Exchange. Alternatively, you could opt for getting it as a drop from Dagannoth Supreme, though there’s only a 1 in 128 chance of you being able to do so.

Crystal Bow

The Crystal Bow boasts a healthy balance of speed and range for you to take advantage of. When it is in peak condition, it is very effective, but as it degrades you will need to recharge it, which unfortunately costs a lot. To make up for this, you won’t need arrows to use it, though you are going to need your ranged skill to be at level 70 and your agility at level 50.

You can get the bow from the Grand Exchange for just over 914,000 OSRS GP, or you can get it as a potential reward from finishing Roving Elves. You can also purchase it from Islwyn, but those who do buy it will need to complete Roving Elves first.

Twisted Bow

This brings us nicely to one of the best weapons in the entire game in the form of the Twisted Bow. The fact that this is capable with a high attack range isn’t what makes this bow unique, rather the fact that it scales in damage depending on the magic level of the enemy that you are firing it at. This means that it is ridiculously valuable against bosses that have high magic levels.

Your ranged level will need to be at 75 for it, and is available as a rare drop from the Chambers of Xeric. You could buy it from the Grand Exchange, but you can expect to fork over a lot of OSRS gold for the Twisted Bow with 1,200,000,000 OSRS GP being the asking price.
