Applications are invited for the position of Scanning Clerk in the Scanning Department within Rand Mutual Assurance Company Limited in Johannesburg. There are 25 night shift positions available. These positions report to the Records Manager.
The core purpose of the job:
Engaged in the effective and efficient daily receiving, dispatching activities and other operations of the Scanning Department.
Duties:
- Opens, sorts, barcode, scan, batch and delivers all incoming mail daily according to the standard operating procedures and Service Level Agreement [SLA]
- Ensure that all documents have been correctly scanned according to project specification and to rescan any pages that are of unacceptable quality in terms of scan marks or illegibility.
- Ensure that all documents have been correctly indexed according to project specification and to combine and or separate documents if necessary.
- Ensure that all pages are correctly orientated
- Handles all duties in adherence with department policies & quality standards.
- Perform full Administrative duties on a daily basis and monitor own statastics
- Active participation at Team Meetings, Training Sessions, Team Buildings etc
Candidate Requirements
- Matric
- NQF5 diploma in Admin / finance or related
- No experience required
- Drivers license advantageous
