Based in the New Germany (Durban / KwaZulu Natal), Purchasing Department, reporting to the Purchasing Manager. A full spectrum of experience in the Purchasing function will be offered as well as a structured Gradaute Development Plan supported by CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply)

Year 1: Diploma In Procurement and Supply
Year 2: Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply

The successful Graduate will be required to fly from Durban to Johannesburg to attend facilitated block release modules. Modules also need to be completed via e-learning with on-line support given by tutors. Work place experience to support learning a Graduate’s learning process is given by the MAHLE Purchasing department.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications;

• Minimum qualification: Completed Degree or Post Graduate qualifiaction in  Economics, Supply Chain or related studies.
• No experience in the Purchasing or Buying function is required.

• Persistence in achieving and maintaining high standards, a systematic and organised in approach. Excellent communication, leadership and team work skills.
• Comfortable and effective approaches at various levels in the organisation are considered important personal attributes.
