Presentation Scheduler Internship Opportunities 2018 at E-TV

e.tv has two positions for Presentation Scheduler Interns in the On Air Presentations department in Cape Town. The internships are for a period of 6 months.

Reporting to the HOD: On Air Operations your Key Performance Areas will include:

  • Creating accurate daily transmission schedules across a multi-channel platform
  • Responsible for final schedule and the distribution of it to on air users both internal and external
  • Liaise with external departments for any programme or promo discrepancies, late start times and outstanding material
  • Liaise with the Commercial Time Sales Departments for all commercial scheduling, outstanding material and over sells
  • Implement promotion planning and meeting contractual agreements
  • View and Schedule of interstitial programming, channel branding and promos
  • Create promo reports
  • Daily reconciliation of transmission schedules
  • Perform Ad hoc duties for the HOD of On-Air Operations, Presentations Manager and Supervisors


  • Marketing, Research or Media Communications Diploma
  • Knowledge of television broadcasting an advantage
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Computer literacy essential(Outlook, Excel, Word,)
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail skills
  • Analytical/quick thinker

  • Willingness to work longer hours if required
