The Training and Development department of Palabora Copper (Pty) Limited is inviting citizens of the Ba-Phalaborwa region to apply for a full time 2/3 year Learnership contract in one of the following trades:
- National Certificate – Electrical
- National Certificate – Fitting (Including machining)
- National Certificate – Instrumentation
- National Certificate – Plater/Boilermaker
- National Certificate – E.M.E.M (Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic)
Palabora Copper (Pty) Limited extracts and beneficiates copper and other by-products in the Ba-Phalaborwa area of Limpopo Province. Palabora is South Africa’s only producer of refined copper and provides the local market with 85% of its copper requirements.

- Detailed Curriculum Vitae
- Certified copy of the full academic results for the Nated course (N2/N3, etc.) or a NCV Level 4 Certificate or Technical Matric Certificate with Maths (Maths Literacy not acceptable), Engineering Science and Trade related theory subject
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified copy of driver’s licence
