Palabora Copper is offering a one year In-service Training/third year practical (P1 & P2) to students who have completed their second year of study. This programme will afford learners an opportunity to gain knowledge and practical exposure in the respective fields. Successful candidates will enter into an In-service training agreement with the organization. This is not a contract of employment and it does not guarantee a job at the end. It is 100% a learning opportunity.
- Geology (11 Positions) – REF/IS/GEO
- Survey (4 Positions) – REF/IS/SUR
- Metallurgy (5 Positions) – REF/IS/MET
- Electrical (5 Positions) – REF/IS/ELE
- Public Relations/Communications (1 Position) – REF/IS/PRCOM
- Logistic/Shipping (1 Position) – REF/IS/LOGSHI
- Wild Life Management (1 Position) – REF/IS/WLM
Requirements:
- Students who have completed their second year of study in the above mentioned fields
- South African Citizen
- Currently unemployed

- Understand technical concepts
- Self-disciplined and motivated
- Good communication skills
In making the final selection, the following points will also be considered:
- Meeting all the above-mentioned requirements
