2 vacancies exist for Porters, based at Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital in Roodepoort and will be reporting to the Services Manager. One position is permanent, the other is on sessional contract. The successful candidates will contribute to effective functioning of the hospital assist with in-transit patient care.
Critical Outputs:
- Position requires assistance to admission/nursing staff with the movement of patients
- Performing of administrative duties assigned to a porter
- Performance of any other duty/task as assigned by the line manager to the porter in order to ensure the smooth running of the business
Requirements:
- Matric
- Experience in dealing with customers/working with people
- Excellent communication skills
Competencies:
- Self-motivated
- Practise good personal hygiene
- Professional flexibility
