Internship/Vacation student position at Abeinsa EPC South Africa in the Legal industry.

Job Functions:
- A position has arisen for an Intern in our legal department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
- Drafting Contracts according to contractual standards and conditions of the company.
- Incorporation of new entities.
- Drafting Legal reports.
- Supporting all departments in risk analysis in potential new projects.
- Carry out the preventive management of the legal risks.
- Give a legal response to actions of third parties (Subcontractors, Authorities, etc).
- Advise in the signing of contracts and agreements (Construction).
- Detect and provide information on the possible legal risks in the execution of the project/ Works to ensure their efficient development.
- Identify and propose the legal solution most suitable to each kind of problem by taking into account the reference frame defined by the laws in force and the customer necessities.
- Negotiate with third parties and/or legal representatives.
- Manage secretarial services and in charge of the secretarial services file.
Job Requirements:
- The candidate should be a recent undergraduate degree graduate (BCom Law, BA Law or equivalent), and must not yet have completed their LLB degree.
- However, candidates who are in the process of completing their LLB degree will still be considered).
Employees must be based in Cape Town
- Understand key business drivers and proactively seeks out opportunities and recommend solutions that can be effectively supported.
- Willingness to learn and develop their skills
- Passionately strives to achieve results;
- Energetic and high level of dedication.
- Strong knowledge of various cultures and the international way of doing business.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; Spanish / French are a big plus.
