PURPOSE
- Responsible primarily for ensuring that all customer parcels are delivered timeously and accurately on a specified delivery route
REQUIREMENTS
- National Senior Certificate
- Must be prepared to work Overtime
- Must be prepared to work shifts in order to meet the operational requirements of the department
- Own transport preferable
- No traffic Violations on record
- Clean, neat personal appearance
- A Code 08 or 10 driver’s license required, approved by the South African Road Traffic Act
- A Valid PDP
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Attention to detail
- Able to work under time pressure/time deadline
- Able to work in a team
- Accuracy and Numerical ability Desirable
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To increase customer loyalty, by delivering their products on time.
- Documentation handling, loading of vehicle, process, and procedure
- Obtain a Check sheet from the Fleet controller/Supervisor/Manager.
- Tick off all checks according to the sheet.
- To ensure that the vehicle is cleaned regularly, and presents an appropriate image of the company
- Count number of parcels confirm the quantity with the pharmacy Manager
- Ensure that all duties allocated are carried out and completed
