Position Overview
Capitec is seeking energetic and self-motivated individuals to process and administer funeral insurance claims, ensuring efficient client service and adherence to regulatory standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- 1–2 years of experience in banking, insurance, or client service environment
- Minimum 1 year of funeral insurance claims processing experience
Ideal Experience
- Familiarity with:
- Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
- FICA, POPI, FAIS regulations
- Understanding of the insurance industry and claims handling processes
- Knowledge of Funeral Products
Key Responsibilities
- Administer funeral insurance claims and related queries
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with ad-hoc recovery and administration tasks
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and record-keeping
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Administrative accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
