Position Overview

Capitec is seeking energetic and self-motivated individuals to process and administer funeral insurance claims, ensuring efficient client service and adherence to regulatory standards.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • 1–2 years of experience in banking, insurance, or client service environment
  • Minimum 1 year of funeral insurance claims processing experience

Ideal Experience

  • Familiarity with:
    • Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
    • FICAPOPIFAIS regulations
  • Understanding of the insurance industry and claims handling processes
  • Knowledge of Funeral Products

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer funeral insurance claims and related queries
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with ad-hoc recovery and administration tasks
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and record-keeping

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Administrative accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
