The International Youth Fellowship (IYF), a Christian organisation aimed at promoting cultural exchange, fellowship and union amongst youth from all walks of life will on 01–04 September 2014 hold an International Youth Fellowship World Camp in Soweto (venue tbc).
The International Youth Fellowship World Camp South Africa will bring together over 300 students for a four-day fellowship and cultural exchange camp through guest lectures, cultural performances, recreational activities, screening of motivational videos and discussion platforms
IYF World Camps take place in various countries around the world. While it is a Christian organisation, universal values are taught and the camp is open to youth from all religious and cultural backgrounds.
There are no costs involved, but young people will need to transport themselves to and from the camp for the 4-day period. No accommodation will be provided. Only lunch will be provided for participants each day.
Criteria for participation:
- Must be aged 15-35 years
- Must be a registered student at an institution of higher learning in South Africa
- Must be able to transport themselves to and from the 4-day camp
- Must accept the IYF terms and conditions as per the application form
