Industrial Psychology: Psychometrist Internship at PEP

The People Support Department at PEP Stores is looking to hire an Intern Psychometrist on a 6 month contract (half day position)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To conduct psychometric assessments and provide assessment results to relevant parties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scheduling and adminstering psychometric assessments
  • Scoring paper-based and computer assessments
  • Maintaining assessment results on database
  • Safekeeping of test materials and assessment results, as well as controlling use of employee files (in line with HPCSA requirements)
  • Stock levels of test material are managed and orders placed when needed (with authority from manager)
  • Invoice business units for assessments
  • Ad hoc duties

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Honours Degree in Industrial/Organisational Psychology
  • Registered as student of psychology / intern psychomterist with the HPCSA
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office, Excel)
  • Competencies: Good problem solving skills; Detail Orientation; Planning, organising and control; Communication; and Building and maintaining relationships
