Cape Union Mart’s HRD Department currently requires an Intern in Cape Town. The successful candidate will ideally be able to self-motivate and self – manage. A Human Resources Development tertiary qualification or in a related field is favourable. A passion for Learning and Development and administration is essential.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate training (send invitations, book venues and catering, print material etc.)
- Update the HR system weekly (upload attendance registers, training certificates etc.)
- Maintain database of Training providers and Company Library
- Coordinate and oversee HRD videography projects
- Communicate the necessary HRD information to Stores, Head Office & Distribution Centre
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office
- Exposure to Premier PHR (advantageous)
- Self –sufficient with the ability to work in a pressurised, fast paced environment
- Forward thinking with the ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
- Self –confident with the ability to converse eloquently and professionally
- Time management skills with the ability to work within time constraints
- Methodical work approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and events
- Attention to detail with a flair for working with administration
- Passionate about providing superior customer service
- A strong sense of team work
- A valid driver’s license
