I have a solid background in workplace safety and can bring over six years’ practical experience in creating and implementing OH&S procedures to the position.
I endeavour to keep abreast of the latest standards in workplace safety and have completed a number of relevant courses to this end, including the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety. In addition to my formal qualifications, I have extensive experience producing, executing and maintaining policies and procedures to keep employees safe and healthy in the workplace. My experience in preparing Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements and Site Standard Operating Procedures demonstrates my ability to marry an organisation’s internal processes and procedures with legislative obligations.
I am highly valued for my outstanding communication skills, and my ability to manage relationships with colleagues with positivity and professionalism. Following my appointment as designated Safety Ambassador at Risky Business, the scope of my position was broadened, leading me to take responsibility for training new recruits and running refresher courses for current employees.
