The role: Graphic design internship
We are looking for an enthusiastic, young graphic design graduate to work with the creative department at South Africa’s premier experiential marketing agency. You will learn about advertising and experiential marketing, assist with industry events, and create marketing materials for a variety of pitches and campaigns.
Required skills and experience:
The intern should have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. They must have strong vocabulary and writing skills, use creative approaches to graphic design and marketing materials. They must have the ability to use social media outlets effectively, and must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Being proficient in Dreamweaver or Flash is a plus. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, and has strong task and time management skills. Any finished art experience will count in your favour.
The ideal candidate knows strategies on how to visually convey a message while promoting a brand and can equally develop the content to match. This person can multitask the creative and analytic aspects of the internship. Marketing, business, visual arts, graphic design, advertising, communications and consumer behavior-related enthusiasts are encouraged to apply. A keen willingness to foresee future trends in marketing and advertising as well, as social media is also a must.
