Gemalto is looking for Computer Science Engineer graduate will be based within the Gemalto Global Services team in Johannesburg. Gemalto delivers on the growing demands for personal mobile services, identity protection, payment security, authenticated online services, cloud computing access, modern transportation, e-healthcare and e-government services.
Main Responsibilities
- Integrate the company products according to the client’s needsEducation:
- Work in integration projects and execute integration tasks according to timeplans
- Contribute to Integration Operational Rate and Customer Satisfaction Survey
- Assemble different products to build a solution for a given customer.
- Build the solution package
- Write the customer acceptance test plan
- Integrate and deploy the solution at customer site with the customer infrastructure, where required.
- Test the global solution
- Contribute to the execution of the acceptance test plan with the customers under the service project leader responsibility, where required.
- Contribute to the support and assistance of the customer after the installation, where required
- Contribute to the transition from project to support: ensure the supportability of the applications, do the warranty check point, transfer to support.
- Contribute to the development of IT tools to facilitate the integration, maintenance and customization of the company’s solutions installed in the clients Maximum one project at the same time
Requirements
- Computer Science Engineer graduate
- Experience: 0 – 1 year of experience in Integration activities
- Languages:
- English (oral and written) – mandatory
Competencies:
- Unix and/or Linux
- Networking (in a Linux environment)
- Database (e.g. Oracle, MySQL) and SQL Scripting
- Internet technologies: Servlets, Tomcat, Apache
- Java programming
Interpersonal skills:
- Independent, Fast-learning
- Self-confident and self-motivated
- Wants to remain in the technical area, that means, wants to develop technical skills
- Excellent logical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
