Exciting Learnership Opportunity for Persons with Disabilities at SADDT

SADDT, The South African Disability Development Trust has created an opportunity for disabled learners to participate in their Learnership Programme.

The South African Disability Development Trust (SADDT) together with the Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA) are inviting participants for a learnership on Local Government Support Services at NQF Level 3.

The following municipalities will be host employers therefore participants must be from the following areas: Ekhuruleni, City of Johannesburg, City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, West Rand District and Sedibeng District Municipality.

It is compulsory for applicants to meet the following entrance criteria:

  • Have a disability
  • Have a minimum of Grade 11 or 12 or equivalent qualifications
  • Reside in Gauteng
  • Be unemployed and NOT be participating in a learnership currently
  • Be able to travel independently to the training centre and workplace
  • Be willing to undergo the assessment process before selection
  • Be a South African citizen
  • You must have a clear criminal record
