eMail CV: Finance Internship Programme at Randfontein Local Municipality

The Randfontein Local Municipality hereby invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for appointment to Municipal Finance Internship positions (2 posts).

The MFMIP is an organized professional training and work experience programme aimed at exposing the successful candidate to all facets of financial management services; including income and expenditure, financial reporting, accounts management, suppl chain management, asset management and other areas within the finance directorate. Interns will receive a stipend R144 756 per annum.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Accounting or Financial Management
  • Computer literacy
 Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing financial policies and procedures
  • Compile financial statements and management reports
  • Compile annual budget
  • Control and manage municipal bank account
  • Assist in the management of debtors and credit control processes
  • Conduct reconciliations and financial analyses
  • Ensure effective supply chain management
  • Manage assets and liabilities
