Discovery Health is looking for a Wellness Assistant in Sandton to assist with all client queries – taking ownership, give regular feedback and ensure accurate and quick resolution (where possible). The incument will alsob e tasked with providing feedback to how users experience the self-service tool.
Responsibilities
- Client Liaison
- Monitor and assist clients use of the wellness experience kiosks
- Accurately communicating appropriate information to internal and external clients
- Report any issues with the kiosk, following the defined escalation process
Requirements
- Minimum qualification matric (grade 12) certificate, passed with exemption
Advantageous:
- Biokinetics Intern
- Sports Science graduate
- Physiotherapist Intern
Competencies
- Experience working with clients, resolving queries and guiding clients on next steps to resolve their queries
- Experience in a client-facing environment
- Experience working with touch screen applications, and guiding and teaching clients on using the applications
- Ability to encourage others to try new technologies
- Ability to think on one’s feet and solve problems
- Ability to confidently interact with clients from different groups, income segments and with different levels of comfort with technology
- Ability to work independently and report any errors or issues encountered in the field
- Have attention to detail and high degree of accuracy when soliciting and capturing clients feedback
- Proactive approach to obtaining information and feedback
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English. It would be an advantage if the candidate is fluent in other official South African languages
- Ability to travel to different event sites on different days
- Excellent client liaison skills
- Well-groomed and professional at all times.

- Comfortable working with different technologies, mobile, web and alternative channels
