Your training
Your intensive training as an Analyst starts with an invaluable induction that gives you broad business, technical and product knowledge. Our senior leaders will share their vision for Deutsche Bank with you and offer insights to our culture, values and beliefs. And you’ll gain a thorough grounding in all the asset classes, often using real life case studies. Inspiring experts, many of whom have worked on the trading floor, will bring the technical theory to life. While teamwork exercises and a schedule of networking events will help you start building vital business relationships and lasting friendships with future colleagues.
After that, expect to benefit from some of the best technical, professional and soft-skills training around. Fast-paced, interactive and ongoing, it will help you gain relevant industry and regulatory qualifications. At the same time, you’ll work alongside, and learn from, our most senior leaders. You’ll have continuous opportunities to develop, both on the job and through structured training. Your role
Based in one of the world’s global financial centres, you’ll take on early responsibility as you complete up to four rotations across groups in Sales, Structuring and Trading. Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your role and the desk you’re working on. You might be pricing products, preparing marketing materials or refining the way we do forecasts. But by the end of the programme, you’ll be a well-rounded industry professional, ready to get to grips with challenges like handling client portfolios, building a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and delivering innovative client solutions.
The skills you’ll need
Although your degree could be in any discipline, strong quantitative, analytical and numerical skills are a must. As are commercial awareness, sound judgement and a strategic mind. Resilience and dedication are vital too if you’re to keep up with the pace of life on the trading floor. And as we put the needs of our clients first, it’s important you do as well. We’ll also look for a confident communication style and an aptitude for technology plus the determination to learn quickly and build a long-term career as a leader in our global bank.
