The Content Bar is an innovation, design and technology company. We use principles of design thinking to conceptualise new ideas to use technology for user interactions.
We build software and hardware to create experiences in the “real world” while using software to engage with people via online social interactions.
We are seeking full-time or part-time resources to work within the following positions:
Technical manager:
- Set-up and manage Wi-Fi systems for client jobs
- Installation into ceilings and walls
- Manage settings
- Test and troubleshoot
- Set-up and manage RFID systems
- Installations
- Test and troubleshoot
- Create engineering drawings for Producer and Client Service teams
- Ability to convey concepts using current programmes such as autodesk inventor, solidworks or equivalent platforms
- Find appropriate suppliers to provide specialised equipment and services required for activations
- Oversee total technical delivery of activation process at live activations
Electronic Engineer:

- At WIFI, RFID and NFC Activations to lead the planning and physical set up of Cisco-Meraki internet solutions
- Provide LAN and online environments
- In depth knowledge of related specialised equipment
- Work with software developer to design and build new products
- Work with Interaction Designer and User Experience Specialist to create end-to-end engaged user experiences
- Ability to work with open source micro controllers such as Arduinos and Raspberry pi’s with analogue to digital sensors for rapid prototype ideas created
- Design and engineer electrical circuits using platforms like Eagle
- Knowledge of engineering design (electrical e&e to final manufacturing)
- Clear understanding and functionality of RFID and NFC
- Ability to conceptualise and drive product development
- Ability to design applying principles of force analysis of structures
Product designer:
- Create prototypes in workshop for 3d visualisation of ideas
- Use 3D design programmes (such as Autodesk or Solidworks) to design and draw new products that will be used at event and clients activation
- Ability to take the drawings through the process of design, testing and finally building of the units
- Efficient in engineering drawing program such as Autodesk inventor, solid works or equivalent platforms
