Woolworths invites applications for the Clothing and Merchant Training (TMT) Programme in the Western Cape. The TMT programme is a 18-24 month trainee programme designed to develop technologists for the business.
Requirements
- Relevant degree /diploma in Textile Technology /Clothing Management
- Previous textile manufacturing and retail experience would be advantageous
Competencies
- Basic knowledge of fabric production and design
- Basic understanding of fabric manufacturing processes including spinning, dyeing and finishing.
- Good understanding of fibre properties
- A deep appreciation of the Woolworths Clothing and GM product and brand ethos
- Strong analytical ability
- Highly numerate
- Demonstrated taste level and flair
- Customer orientation
- Computer literate
- Sound business and commercial awareness
- A commitment to high performance delivery
