Overview
SABC3 is looking for 3 New presenters “Presenter Search on 3” this year, for their show: Top Billing, Expresso and a new show.
The nationwide auditions for the Presenter Search on 3 will take place in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban during February and March, after which the show will choose a Top 30.
The show, the process and all that surrounds it is being dedicated to Simba Mhere. This from Top Billing executive producer Patience Stevens about it:
“The tragic death of Simba Mhere is a devastating blow to Top Billing – and to the Presenter Search. Simba was so looking forward to co-presenting the new series with his close friend and colleague Jonathan Boynton-Lee. Their energy on screen together and their personal experience of both being Presenter Search winners was something that we all hoped would bring a special magic to the show.
“We will dedicate the new series to Simba – and to his memory – and hope to carry out the search with the same positive energy and zest for life that reflects the spirit Simba brought to every project he tackled.”
What will I have to do if I make it past the auditions?
This from the show: “You’ll face physical challenges and tests of improvisation and intelligence – while holding your cool with the confidence and charisma befitting a presenter.”

Anyone over the age of 18.

Audition must-knows
You need to prepare a ‘link’ or a short introduction about yourself in the style of the host presenter.
In the show’s words: “Be as creative and original as possible and let your star quality shine. You will be required to be able to walk and deliver you prepared link at the same time.”
