The Steinmüller Africa Technical Training Academy (SATTA) is located in Bethal, Mpumalanga and Pretoria, Gauteng.
Both centres have been accredited with the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA), which has been set up by the South African government to accelerate skills development in various sectors of the economy.The centre also has apprentice programmes running, which cater for welders and pipefitters.Steinmüller Africa’s extensive expertise allows it to provide employment in a wide variety of industries in South Africa, including power generation, petrochemical and chemical, iron and steel, paper and pulp and mining and mineral beneficiation.
What we offer:
Our apprenticeship programmes are developed to provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge and training, to meet the minimum requirements of unit standards of their respective programmes.
Thus, highly effective, productive and quality artisans are provided to the Steinmüller Africa workshops and project sites.
What do I need in order to qualify for an apprenticeship programme?
N3 or Grade 12 with the following subjects:
- Mathematics (Mathematics Literacy alone does not suffice);
- Science; and
- Drawings (would be advantageous).
